Graftsure
Help & support
Last updated 20 October 2026. We'll tell you about important changes before they apply.
Stuck, or something not right? Email hello@graftsure.co.uk and a real person will get back to you, usually within one working day.
Signing in
- Enter your email and tap Email me a code. We'll send a 6-digit code from hello@graftsure.co.uk; type it in. The email also has a sign-in button if you're on the same phone.
- No email after a couple of minutes? Check your junk or spam folder, and that the address is spelled right. Codes last an hour and work once.
For homeowners
- Posting a job is free. Clear photos and a good description get better replies.
- Checked trades who cover your area can say they're interested. Look at their badges (each shows the date we checked) and reviews, then shortlist up to 3 you like. Only then do they get your name, phone number, email and full postcode.
- Your agreement for the work is with the trade, not with us. Get the quote in writing, and for gas work check the trade on the Gas Safe Register.
- When the job's done, tap Did the job to leave a review.
- Feedback about you: the trade you picked can rate how the job went (payment, how accurately it was described, communication, appointments). It's never public: checked trades see only a summary, without names. You'll be told, and can see it, reply or dispute it under Reviews. See how it works.
For trades
- Getting verified: upload your public liability insurance, plus Gas Safe for gas work or your competent person scheme (NICEIC, NAPIT and so on) for electrical work. We check by hand, usually within a working day. We'll remind you 30 days before anything expires.
- Fees: free during launch (we'll give at least 15 days' notice before fees start). After that, showing interest is still free and you pay only when a homeowner shortlists you: £3, £6 or £10, and on pay as you go every shortlist is half price once you're over £50 in a calendar month. The lead shows the exact fee before you reply, and your Billing page shows every fee.
- Basic DBS badge (optional): apply yourself for a basic check (£20 from DBS in England and Wales, £25 Disclosure Scotland Level 1, £16 AccessNI), then share it under Checks. We delete the certificate as soon as it's checked and keep only clear/not clear and the dates. Homeowners see the certificate's month; we suggest a new check yearly.
- Rating homeowners: after a job you were picked for is marked done, you have 14 days to rate the homeowner. Stick to facts about the job; comments are checked before other trades see them.
- Plans and payment methods are managed on the website at graftsure.co.uk (sign in with the same email). The apps show your billing but don't sell anything.
- Cancel Pro any time on the Billing page; you stay Pro until the month you paid for ends. See our terms.
Staying safe
- In any conversation you can report a message or block the other person. Blocked people can't message you.
- Never pay a large deposit by bank transfer to someone you haven't checked. A genuine trade won't pressure you.
- Report a review that's fake or abusive with the Report link under it.
- Seen something illegal on Graftsure, even without an account? Email hello@graftsure.co.uk with a link or description. A person reviews every report.
- In an emergency, or if someone threatens you, call 999. To report a scam, contact Report Fraud on 0300 123 2040 (in Scotland, Police Scotland on 101).
Complaints and appeals
- About Graftsure: email hello@graftsure.co.uk with “Complaint” in the subject. We'll reply within 5 working days.
- About your personal data: see complaints about your data.
- If we removed your content or restricted your account and you think we got it wrong, email us with “Appeal” in the subject. See our terms.
- About a trade's work: your agreement is with the trade, so raise it with them first. Citizens Advice (0808 223 1133) can explain your rights, and if the trade belongs to a scheme such as Gas Safe or NICEIC you can complain to that scheme. Please also tell us, especially if it affects their badges.
