Delete your Graftsure account

Last updated 20 October 2026. We'll tell you about important changes before they apply.

You can delete your account whenever you like, in the app or on the website. It takes about ten seconds, and it can't be undone.

In the app or on the website

Sign in to Graftsure (the iPhone or Android app, or the website).
Tap Account at the top of the screen.
Tap Delete my account…, type DELETE, and confirm.

Can't sign in? Email hello@graftsure.co.uk from the address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We'll confirm it's you and delete it within 7 days.

What's deleted straight away

Your name, email address and phone number.
Your trade profile text and private postcode. Your verification documents (insurance, registrations, photo ID) are deleted in our nightly clean-up, so within a day.
Your open jobs (they're closed so trades stop seeing them) and any notification tokens.
Your sign-in: the email can't sign in to the old account again (you're welcome to start afresh later).
If you're on Pro, the subscription is cancelled immediately, so you won't be charged again.

What we have to keep

Fees, invoices and payments: 6 years, because tax law requires it.
A record of trade checks (who checked what, and when, with no documents): 6 years, in case of complaints.
Reviews and messages you've already sent stay with the people you sent them to, shown as from a deleted account.
Reports involving you and our decisions: 2 years after the decision, to keep other people safe. Blocks are removed.
